Raiding Rules

As many of our members are new to raiding, I felt that it would be a good idea to cover some basic groundwork to help people start out on the right foot. Almost all of our forum information we have listed is there in order to help people play their classes to the best of their ability. While we realize and respect that each person may have their own playing style, there are some basics that MUST be true if you are to successfully play your characters in a Raid.

In order to try to get everyone on the same page in regards to raiding, the officers will be adding posts for each class, as well as strategy guides for all raid instances. Please bear with us while we attempt to locate as much information as possible and make it available to you. Our request is that you take the time to READ what we post. There is a LOT of valuable information to be obtained if you were only to look.

The first step to getting everyone on the same page is to set raiding rules for everyone to follow. These rules go thru the basics of what EVERYONE must do in order for a raid to be successful. The officers have felt that it is so important that we will require that everyone read and sign the rules before they will be allowed to raid with us. By signing the rules, all you have to do is to reply to the thread stating that you have read it and understand all of the rules. By stating this, you are also agreeing to follow the rules.

I do not want people to think that we are being hard or unreasonable. That is not our intentions. However, all of the information in the rules is basic information that a vast majority of raids on the server require from their participants. We have simply taken the time to write them all down so that everyone is on the same page. Again, we are doing this for your benefit. This way no assumptions will be made regarding the fact that common knowledge for some is common knowledge for all.
